Sophie's Slippers is the story of a little girl and her favorite pair of shoes — written by Kelly Ciurczak Garry and inspired by the real Sophie Pearce, a dancer and the heart behind Sophie Dance. Brought to life through layers of watercolor, gouache, acrylic, ink, colored pencil, and pastel, every spread was made by hand, slowly, the way things worth keeping usually are.
It's my first illustrated book, and I love it dearly. Each copy is hardcover and signed by hand.
