This is a one of a kind mixed media painting on 8.5 x 11" paper. 

We often associate beauty with youth, but here I choose to align beauty with wisdom. I've been referring to this series of portraits as my "Leading Ladies" as each woman here is or has been a star in her field. But instead of painting them in their teens or early twenties I chose to highlight the marks of passing years that they have earned.
